We are using XamGrid in our project. An exception is being thrown by the grid in the following scenario.
1. Choose a numeric or date column.
2. Enable filtering. Start typing in some value in the filter.
3. Don't press enter, but click on a grid cell.
4. An exception is thrown.
Can someone help us please?
Hello Abhijeet,
Thank you for your post. I have been looking into your issue. I have created a small sample to test the issue you are facing and I was not able to reproduce the issue. I am attaching the sample application, would you please modify it with the functionality you are using. This way I would be able to reproduce the issue and provide you with further support.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
I am just checking you progress on this issue. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions.
Hello
i have similar problem in my opinion it is a Infragistics Bug that causes a Null reference exception.
How to reproduce:
1. Create a simple xamGrid , allow filtering and create one button to reload data :
<StackPanel> <Button Content="RELOADS" Click="Button_Click"/> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot"> <ig:XamGrid x:Name="selectorGrid" AutoGenerateColumns="True" ColumnWidth="*"> <ig:XamGrid.FilteringSettings> <ig:FilteringSettings AllowFiltering="FilterRowTop" FilteringScope="ColumnLayout"/> </ig:XamGrid.FilteringSettings> </ig:XamGrid> </Grid> </StackPanel>
2. The Button Event Handler Button_Click just reload the data with any object you want.
var list = GetDataSource().ToList();
selectorGrid.ItemsSource = new List<SampleEntity>(list);
3. When you start the program the Grid is empty.
Exception.
Please let me know if you can reproduce this bug.
or maybe if you have a workaround...

Juan
