Hello,
Im new into angular.js. I thought I will try angular.js with IngiteUI. I cloned code from: https://github.com/IgniteUI/igniteui-angular. Followed build instructions. When I enter index.html -> igGrid, then FireBug says that he cannot find angular.js which is used in file igniteui-angular.js. I checked in html file if reference to this file is missing. I found that it is there I didnt change anything and it should work... What Im doing wrong?
I just want to know which option you have used. Clone in Desktop (Requires GitHub Installation ), OR Download Zip?
1)I suggest you are using the download zip option.
Please note there is more detailed description how to run these samples in the README.md file, located in the root folder after unzipping “igniteui-angular-master”.
Please notice AngularJS library is referenced via the CDN for each sample html file at:
<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.3/angular.min.js"></script>
If there is no access to it I suggest there is some internet connection issue. It is possible to change the references to local ones (presuming downloading the AngularJS and referencing it manually).
2) Anyway, if the installation is now working ok for you, you could access these samples via the following Blog or following the link specified bellow.
Here is a Blog article describing in better detail what are the current AngularJS directives available as well as all available samples at the moment regarding the use of AngularJS and IgniterUI. http://www.infragistics.com/community/blogs/craig_shoemaker/archive/2014/05/01/ignite-ui-angularjs-now-in-preview.aspxAll of the running samples could be found at: http://igniteui.github.io/igniteui-angular/ AngularJS could be downloaded from https://angularjs.org/
Please let me know if this is helping you and if require further assistance.
Thank you for your help. I managed to work it out :)
When I created this topic I got something like warning that I just started my 30 support trial. This means that after this trial I wont be able to post any topics here? Iam asking because at this moment I use free version of IgniteUI.
Hello Jakub,Welcome to the community!
You are correct. All users registering for posting in the forum automatically are granted with a 30 day trial support level.
During this period, we are treating all posts from trial accounts as a Standard Support customer. You could find more details at: http://www.infragistics.com/help/support-policies/
“Trial Support applies to all users of our products who have not yet purchased a subscription, but are evaluating our products during their initial trial period. Trial Support evaluators receive the same level of support as a Standard Support customer.
Forums are available to all Infragistics users to search and get answers to product and how-to questions. Current subscription and trial customers may submit questions and comments to the Infragistics Forums. Non subscription holders are directed to Stack Overflow to submit questions.”
Also please notice, it is a common practice to open new case when the discussion changes from the original case title/thread. In this case “IgniteUI Angular.js doesn’t work”. This helps all community members to find what they search for in the forum more easily.
