I have reviewed the attached screenshot, but it seems like I am missing something from your scenario. Would you please provide more information about the editable functionality you are trying to achieve? Do you want to create the column A from grid2 editable(if you want this, I believe that it’s IsReadOnly property can help here) or only the cells A1 and A2?

Thanks for the prompt response.
I want when user put any value in Top grid column 'A' then cells A1 and A2 should become editable (in the lower grid) with the value of 'Column' A.
The main concern is how cells A1 and A2 remain in editable mode (i.e. in textbox form).
is there any supported event to make sure that cells A1 and A2 become editable ? please confirm.
The XamGrid currently does not provide build-in suitable property for setting separates cells are editable, but I believe that you can create style for CellConrol where set it’s IsEnabled property to false for all cells in Column A. In order to change this property later for cell A1 and A2 from XamGrid2 you can handle CellEnteredEditMode event of your XamGrid1, so in the event handler you would be able to access the cells you want from XamGrid2 and set IsEnabled property to True for them, this way they are editable, but not in edit mode, please note that normally the XamGrid supports a single cell going into edit mode, if you would like to show both cells A1 and A2 in edit mode at the same time, I suggest you to take a look at the following forum thread where similar functionality was discussed:

I have created simple sample application, based on your scenario in order to show you, how can create only cells A1 and A2 from XamGrid2 editable, when insert value in column A from XamGrid1.
