The functionality of hyperlinks in a task have disappeared. Clicking on a link brings up a menu that says view properties, edit properties and delete. Previously clicking a link opened the built in browser. Selecting view properties will open another copy of the task. If you hit edit properties, the only way to open the link is to hit the little globe. This seems like a step backwards in usability and is very counter intuitive.
Hello Mark,
Can you attach screenshots of the behavior? I have performed some tests on our iPad with SharePlus 3.8 and 4.0 and both behave the same. The only way I see a hyperlink is by editing the task. No globe is shown. And when I click the link both versions take to page in the built in browser.
Which version worked as expected and which version are you using currently?
Please use the following demo site we have to view the 'Task's list > 'Google' task.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding this matter.
your tasks on the demo site do not have a URL link field. However the item called "link" has a URL that behaves in the way I am talking about.
somehow I've screwed up my task list now, anytime I select edit properties it opens a web page to the native site and I can no lonager edit within the app.
I will say my office 365 sharepoint site seems to be acting "normally" in shareplus so it's either wss 3.0 or something I did and can't figure it out.
And to top it off, all other lists can be edited in shareplus
Hi Mark,
I have tested the behavior of the "link" item on our test site with the current app store version of SharePlus. When I click on the url, it opens the browser and brings me to google.com in the built-in browser. This appears to be the behavior you desired, but does not seem to match what you are describing. I do not see the Actions menu.
I tested on the previous version as well and got the same behavior.
I will test further and get back to you.
MikeThanks for looking at this. I'm convinced now there's something I did to the site but I can't figure out what it is. I re-created the task list from scratch on the same internal sharepoint site by setting up the custom columns and then pasting the data into the new list. This one does act and behave "normally". There must be something telling shareplus it can't/ isn't allowed to edit the task. I've checked all the permissions etc and I can't figure it out, but the re-created list is working fine. So let's call this user error and not a bug in shareplus. Sorry to have wasted your time.Mark
