Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can break the full version number of an Infragistics release down for me?
As an example I have been using version 2014.1, but its full version number is 14.1.20141.2059.
What I do know is that the first part is the year of release. I guess the second denotes whether it is released first or second half of the year
I am unsure about the last two parts, maybe service release and build?
Thanks,
Hordur
Hordur,
The version number is in the following format:
<major version>.<minor version>.<build number>.<revision>
The major version represents the year of the release.
The minor number represents which volume from that year.
The build number represents both the year and the volume.
The revision number represents the specific version and if it is in the 1000's it is the release and nay number over 2000 represents a service release.
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
Thank you. That clears things up a bit.
If I could ask a follow-up question:
I'm developing a simple Windows forms application to be run from inside a framework that supports Infragistics version 2014.1 SR 1000 and I have had trouble with my version.
Is there any simple way to downgrade to or get SR 1000 for version 2014.1?
If you need to obtain the installer, it is available from the My Keys and Downloads page as long as your product key is registered. If you need to register your product key you would do so from the product registration page.
If for some reason you aren't able to register your key like it is registered to another developer and it needs to be transferred reach out to registrations@infragistics.com for assistance.
If you don't have a key and need to purchase one, you will need to contact sales@infragistics.com to get the older version of Infragistics Ultimate.
