Hi everyone,

Is the HTML Editor component available for Angular 2+? If not, there is an estimated time of when it will be released?

    Hello Sebastian,

    What I can suggest for using igHtmlEditor in Angular project is Ignite UI wrappers for Angular. These are wrappers for the jQuery controls which give you the opportunity to embed them in Angular applications. 

    More about our wrappers and how they can be used can be found in our GitHub igniteui-angular-wrappers repository. In the README section you will find various topics (such as Getting Started, Initializing controls, Configuring Control options etc. ) and a link to our working samples. When you open the page page under "Samples" section you will see "igHtmlEditor" tag, click it and you will see a working sample.

    At this point we do not provide a native HTML Editor as part of the Ignite UI for Angular toolset. However, there is a feature request created from another customer looking for the same component in our GitHub repository. You can have a look at the request here. Please review the description and add any details that you consider relevant.
