igCombo Loses Filter when using ArrowUp and ArrowDown to select

I have an igCombo with about 7000 items.  When I type a filter, then go to select an item from those filtered items using the arrow keys, the filter is cleared and the original item list is applied.  Is this a bug?  How can I get the filter to stay so that I can select from the filtered items with the arrow keys?

    Hello Justin,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    This issue is fixed and will be released in the Service Release on 21st of December, 2018. The versions with the fix will be 17.2, 18.1 and 18.2. Here is the PR for 18.2 - https://github.com/IgniteUI/ignite-ui/pull/1847. You can find the PRs for the other versions in the same repository.
