Hallo Guys,
I got a Indigo.Design project (.proj file, MainScreen.scrren, assets-folder, .autoRecover folder)
I was successfully able to open this project with Indigo Studio.
I was successfully able to upload this project to https://cloud.indigo.design
I was able to create a link to a protoype.
I am able to play the prototype.
But, in Visual Studio Code, when I launch Infragistics Indigo.Design Code Generator and enter the link to the protoype I get the following error-message:
"Only prototypes created using the latest Indigo.Design UI kit for Sketch are supported"
additional infos:
the designed said to me, he used the latest version of Indigo Studio to create the project.
Is this a bug, or have I missed something?
Hi Andrew,
Indigo Studio (Desktop) has it's own Code Snippets functionality, it outputs useful CSS and jQuery code. You can use this in Windows. Then there's a newer story, Indigo.Design Sketch to Angular, that requires you to start from a Sketch file using Indigo.Design UI Kit. Indigo Studio (desktop) is not involved here. This story will only suit you if you work with a UX or Visual designer that uses Sketch as main tool.
Best regards,Pablo
this seems a bit dumb... so in order to use the code generation I have to have a Mac and use Sketch...
i have a windows machine and installed Indigo Studio this should work or is the this a serious oversight...
Hi Markus,
Thanks for contacting us.
In order to generate code using our VS code plugin, you need to use our UI kit at Sketch. Here you can find more information about it. https://www.infragistics.com/products/indigo-design/help/getting-started.html
For Indigo desktop prototypes, you can generate code snippets as it is described in this topic: http://help.indigodesigned.com/generating-code-snippets/working-with-code-snippets
Please let us know if you need further information.
Best regards,
Claudia.
