Something else I'd love to see in Indigo Studio is to duplicate by dragging somehow. Alt-dragging is amazing and lets you rapidly create elements on the fly, but there isn't a good option for duplicating objects rapidly, unless you copy/paste.
Is this planned in the future at all? It won't make or break using Indigo, but it would be really nice.
Hi, Andy!
A lot has been going on since you wrote. I'm glad to tell you that our current version supports ctr+drag to duplicate UI elements.
Once again, thank you for helping us make Indigo better. If you have any questions or more feedback about the product, we'd love to get your thoughts.
Best regards,ClaudiaIndigo Studio Team
Great, I'll use that for now. I appreciate the response!
Forgot to mention, we already support Ctrl/CMD+D to duplicate in place with a little offset, if you want to use that.
Hi again. You can vote for that idea on our User Voice site. We have to figure out which modifier will work for Indigo, but we are looking into it. We are also (probably sooner) coing to add keyboard shortcut to duplicate in a given direction (alt+arrow) with an offset. So it gets to the same thing in a slightly easier way maybe than dragging. But we are also looking into dragging. We just have other modifiers already in use. ;)
