Hi
I'm having some problems embedding the ReportPlus viewer into my existing winforms application. I have compiled and ran the sample application with no problems at all. But when I follow the guide for setting Application.Resources (ResourceDictionary), I'm uncertain where to put this, as I have no xaml file for this.
When I leave this part out (think I have all the other parts of the guide in place), I get the following exception:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Infragistics.ReportPlus.Desktop.Controls.DashboardViewer..ctor(Boolean isApplication) at Infragistics.ReportPlus.Desktop.Controls.ReportPlusViewer.Initialize() at Infragistics.ReportPlus.Desktop.Controls.ReportPlusViewer.OnApplyTemplate() at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.ApplyTemplate() at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.MeasureCore(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.UIElement.Measure(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.Controls.Grid.MeasureCell(Int32 cell, Boolean forceInfinityV) at System.Windows.Controls.Grid.MeasureCellsGroup(Int32 cellsHead, Size referenceSize, Boolean ignoreDesiredSizeU, Boolean forceInfinityV, Boolean& hasDesiredSizeUChanged) at System.Windows.Controls.Grid.MeasureCellsGroup(Int32 cellsHead, Size referenceSize, Boolean ignoreDesiredSizeU, Boolean forceInfinityV) at System.Windows.Controls.Grid.MeasureOverride(Size constraint) at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.MeasureCore(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.UIElement.Measure(Size availableSize) at MS.Internal.Helper.MeasureElementWithSingleChild(UIElement element, Size constraint) at System.Windows.Controls.ContentPresenter.MeasureOverride(Size constraint) at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.MeasureCore(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.UIElement.Measure(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.Controls.Border.MeasureOverride(Size constraint) at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.MeasureCore(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.UIElement.Measure(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.Controls.Control.MeasureOverride(Size constraint) at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.MeasureCore(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.UIElement.Measure(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.Controls.DockPanel.MeasureOverride(Size constraint) at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.MeasureCore(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.UIElement.Measure(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.Documents.AdornerDecorator.MeasureOverride(Size constraint) at System.Windows.FrameworkElement.MeasureCore(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.UIElement.Measure(Size availableSize) at System.Windows.Interop.HwndSource.SetLayoutSize() at System.Windows.Interop.HwndSource.set_RootVisualInternal(Visual value) at System.Windows.Interop.HwndSource.set_RootVisual(Visual value) at System.Windows.Forms.Integration.ElementHost.<OnHandleCreated>b__54_0() at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.Invoke(Action callback, DispatcherPriority priority, CancellationToken cancellationToken, TimeSpan timeout) at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.Invoke(Action callback) at System.Windows.Forms.Integration.ElementHost.OnHandleCreated(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmCreate(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Integration.ElementHost.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
Hope you are able to help me.
Thank you.

Hi Carsten!
So sorry for the delay!!
If you got to debug the error even on another instance of Visual Studio, most likely by now you got the workaround as of why the reference was null. Still, the way to go also is to check the samples projects we have on the latest version. Refer also please to the installed ReportPlus samples under the Win Documents folder for more details.
Kind regards,
