As a data source, I'm using an excel file stored on dropbox (working fine).
Within the file, I have n columns with a date as a label (e.g. 25-Apri, 18-Apr, …). When uploading data, these column titles appear automatically with the full lenght-date format (e.g. 2014-04-25 00:00:00) instead of 25-Apr. I know I can change the label manually, but I need Report+ to do this automatically as the file keeps on being updated every day with new columns. Any idea how to solve this?
Many thanks for the support,
To the best of my knowledge, every time the data source has changed ReportPlus does not automatically update. This is primarily because SharePlus/ReportPlus are optimized for performance. To properly assist you, can you please provide the following:
1. Screenshot, of the behavior. 2. Sample excel file.
Thanks for your reply.
Pls find here attached (1) screenshot of the date problem and (2) excel data source sample
Oops and here is the screenshot.
Thank you for providing your excel file. ReportPlus is picking up the value of the cells in Excel and there isn't a way to change the format to modify this behavior. You can change the Excel file to use the text displayed. You can achieve the behavior by changing the value for each column and placing an apostrophe in front of each date, like so, '25-Apr to enforce the text to be used.
