We intend to use SharePoint tasks when we run checklist on machines, but the reporting possibilities in sharepoint is limited. Is Report Plus a good tool make readable reports?
If so - any examples on such electronic check lists?

ReportPlus is the best tool you can find in the market to have quick data visualization, the app connects to data sources like SQL, MySQL, Salesforce SharePoint and Excel among others. You can create dashboard to keep track of the checklists you have, although you will need to input that data in an excel file for example for ReportPlus to use as an external source of data.
