Hello,
I am using a WebDataGrid to display just one row of information. Because the row does contain a lot of information, I would like to turn the grid's orientation to vertical? (show the columns on the left side instead of on the top) This way, the dozen of information would get displayed like rows (that would be the effect).
Is this possible? If not, what other choices would I have? I plan to to use the WebExcelExporter on it.
Thanks.
Hey Dan,
Thank you for your questions.
May I suggest you to consider out Ignite UI for JavaScript product, with the igGrid you can easily achieve the desired functionality and not to mention our powerful JavaScript Excel library.

Hello Zdravko,
thanks for the information and links, that looks indeed promising, I shall give it a try.
But that does also confirm my assumption that the WebDataGrid is not able to get transformed into a vertical column view, right?
Yes, the asp.net grid is not able to transform into vertical view.
I am glad to hear that you shall consider our igGrid. Let me know if you need further assistance with that.
