Templated columns lose filters?

If I place a WebDataGrid on my page and enable filtering things work fine.

The problem I run into is the moment I template one of the columns specifically the column header the filters no longer work.  I have fought with this for more than half a day now and would appreciate if anyone could assist me on how to re-enable filtering on a column that has a header template.

Samples, articles, anything would help.  Thank you.

    WebDataGrid does not support filtering of templated columns.  So I you make a column templated  and turn on filtering, the Filtering behavior will disable filtering for that column automatically.  If you want to allow filtering for a column, then do not create a template for it.
