Hi,
I am using Infragistics Professional 2017 vol1 for my development. I have a webDataGrid and one of the column is a dropdown list.
It seems there is a javascript error such that the dropdown list didnt displayed. The error is as below.
Could you please provide me a quick fix on this?
Unhandled exception at line 1677, column 3 in http://localhost:59450/HEOSWeb/ScriptResource.axd?d=MbW2kM5DmMuGCXYK9IC4qFpPbSK7Lb7hIdOu4_3n6DqvEEg8Y6ZOQhhdrrOG8uZSG7_QViQAlqc16knNeJCDBKjLW0CzDBBRhoLpWjVKZWEalWq70URxywDMooxaqqhdaH5ZdYAGW2Q02dtbRFVh0p5qxhj8xBxyVO75noMFpVWN4lHqZ78TT9QIm-t5vMJi4YrNyRSy3u9defvBgqtq9MLLHIjRG4wH4y02Cp6zRxo1&t=ffffffff9379ed33
0x800a01b6 - JavaScript runtime error: Object doesn't support property or method 'getComputedStyle'
The same coding is working fine when using Infragistics Professional 2014.
It is very urgent as we need to support IE11.
Hi Michelle Tse,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics Developer Support.
About this question, you also have submitted a private case attaching screenshots. From the attached screenshots, It turned out that your paga is running on compatibility mode.https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/b514c550-0adc-44c0-ae09-e52b2c7760dc/attached-page-targets-document-mode-8-in-ie-1109600?forum=iewebdevelopment
This causes the issue because "window.getComputedStyle()" is not supported by IE8.
We don't support Internet Explorer's compatibility mode, and We follows Microsoft support life cycle and MS has ended IE8 support.
What you need to do is add meta tag as follow to prevent from running on compatibility mode.
<html lang="en"> <head> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" />
I hope this will help.
