WebCurrencyEditor (and various others) cannot be edited in IE9
posted

This may fall into a "not supported" category, but I wanted to post the question anyway.

We have an ASP.NET application that makes use of mostly WebCurrencyEditor, but also WebTextEditor and a variety of others.  For this question we are using version 8.2.

Most of the time this works fine in IE9, but occasionally the controls behave (mostly) as if they are set to read only.  The controls cannot be user edited by typing, but pasting data still works.  No specific steps seem to trigger this behavior, it just seems to happen.  Once the issue does occur, dragging the current tab out of the current IE window to create a new window resolves the issue.  The strange thing here is that if I use view source from the browser the rendered HTML looks the same other than viewstate between the working and not working.

Just checking to see if this is a know issue and if there is any way to fix the issue, other than upgrading to version 10+.

Thanks,

Chad

    Hello Chad,

IE9 is supported in versions 10.1 - 10.3 through service release, and 11.1+ in the RTM version.
