Client has a requirement to go to the previous years. but Infragistics calendar is not allowing it.
I am very new to these Infragistic controls. Any help will be appreciated.
Which property i need to set in order for user to access previous year's data in to calendar? Thanks in advance.
Hello rekha,
Could you specify which win schedule control you use in your application as there are couple of them (UltraDayView, UltraWeekView and so on) and what exactly do you mean by ‘Infragistics calendar is not allowing it’. Do you mean that the scroll buttons do not work?
It also will be helpful if you could send a screenshot of your application form with the calendar on.
Hi Plamena, I am using UltraMonthViewMulti, day and week view. You can refer below image. When I try to click on the left hand-side scroll button (encircled in the image), scroll button greyed out after Jan 2017, not able to navigate to the previous year.
The UltraMonthViewMulti has a property CalendarInfo, which contains date-related information used by the control. Probably it uses UltraCalendarInfo, which is a component that controls the visible days on the WinSchedule view bound to it.
UltraCalendarInfo has a property MinDate, that sets the minimum date allowed. My guess is that in your application, this property is set to the current year and that is why user cannot navigate back to previous years.
You can set the MinDate either from the properties tab or in code:this.ultraCalendarInfo1.MinDate = new DateTime(2000, 1, 1);
Please let me know if you need further assistance regarding this matter.
