Instead of using UltraTextEditor you can use UltraFormattedTextEditor, which has a lot more inbuilt formatting flexibility.
what I do is open the designer for the Value property, which is basically a simple document editor, and make some text bold, italic, different colors, etc., then open the designer code to see what it generated and use that html string .
