I have a gird with a cell that should allow a double click. I can double click ten time and it wont register then sometime it will.
It appears to be that if I am double clicking in the middle of the cell it goes into edit mode (it has a drop down by the way) and I guess that is pone click wasted so my second click becomes another single one. However, if I click around the edges of the cell, so that I click it and the cursor remains as an arrow and does not go to the edit cursor then the double click event fires.
There is nothing special that I have done, I have just subscribed to the Dell Double click event so why does it only fire when clicked around the edge? It is not a problem with a straightforward text field, it seems to be something to do with drop down fields.
Please advise is there a setting I need to set somewhere so the double click is fired wherever I click within the cell?

I can also confirm my earlier fix does not work after all. I subscribed to the double click on the drop down but that is not firing either, it just goes into edit and then no double click events are firing.
Ignore the above (can't seem to delete that reply) my earlier fix is fine. I had commented something out whilst trying to get the cell double click firing. Have given up on that and just sticking to using both cell double click and the combo double click which works for me.

Thank you for the update. What version are you using? Can you attach a sample that demonstrates the behavior you are seeing? As I am seeing a different behavior when I test this locally.
I am on version 19.1.20191.150.
I haven't got time to make a sample right now. All I can say is, I have a grid, I add a combo editor as one of the cell editors and then when I double click that cell the cell double click does not fire, however the editor double click does. My guess is perhaps that is by design and that perhaps the grid says, I haven't got a standard cell here anymore so I wont fire the cell double click as the editor has its own double click event which I will let the developer figure out eventually :)
So just to clarify again so we can try to reproduce the issue... you are assigning an UltraComboEditor (not UltraCombo) as the EditorComponent of the column?
Or are you assigning it as the ValueList of the column?
Or are you assigning it via the cell?
