Hello,
Many of the sample solutions reference a couple common projects: Infragistics.Extensions.Portable and Infragistics.Extensions.WinForms. For example, the MultipleSeries.sln was installed here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics\2024.2\Windows Forms\Samples\VB\Chart\MultipleSeries\MultipleSeries.sln. That solution file references the above projects at "..\..\..\..\Common\Extensions\Infragistics.Extensions\Infragistics.Extensions.Portable.csproj" and "..\..\..\..\Common\Extensions\Infragistics.Extensions.WinForms\Infragistics.Extensions.WinForms.csproj". However, there is no "Common" folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics\2024.2\Windows Forms, so those projects fail to load when opening the solution. Where can I get those projects?
I think this might be similar to the problem described here: https://www.infragistics.com/community/forums/f/ultimate-ui-for-windows-forms/125880/infragistics-2023-1-winforms-samples-infragistics-extensions-not-found. But over the past couple days I've been unable to access certain pages on Infragistics' site due to a "scheduled maintenance" error so I can't see the details of that. Not sure why that's inaccessible because I can access other posts that are significantly older.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you for sharing your concern. We are aware of these issues with our website and documentation and constantly improving our stability. Always call us with any immediate questions. Thanks.
I know this is unrelated to the sample projects, but as I mentioned in the first post I'm still regularly unable to access various pages on the Infragistics forum and help website. It's been going on all week intermittently.
I tried to insert an image that shows the error but I'm not having any luck. The text of the error is:
"Where is Infragistics? We are performing scheduled maintenance and expect to be back online shortly. While we understand and certainly appreciate that you eat, sleep, and breathe Infragistics, we want to take this opportunity to remind you that it's almost the weekend.
We highly recommend that you step away from the computer, get outside, and up your healthy Vitamin D exposure. Why not check out what's happening in your neighborhood?
If you really need your daily dose of Infragistics right this second, swing over to Facebook or Twitter. Thanks for visiting!"
The above was when trying to access www.infragistics.com/.../Infragistics.Win.DataVisualization.UltraDataChart~Infragistics.Win.DataVisualization.categoryxaxis.html
Thanks Michael!
Hello and thank you for contacting Infragistics. Our samples deployment process is currently having issues where it is excluding the dependent Extensions projects. It's just part of the how the samples were designed and are not entirely dependent on getting any of our samples to properly work. To make this fix seamless I attached the folder containing the missing projects.
