Having more than 3 buttons in a column on a ribbon
posted

I have added a group in a ribbon toolbar that has 4 state buttons. They are set to be displayed as Glyph in their properties so they are displayed as a checkbox.

The 4 checkboxes are then displayed in the group by showing 3 in the left column, then 1 in the right column.

Is there any way to have all 4 checkboxes in just one column so the group width is minimised?

There is no way to do this. The Office 2007 UI Guidelines state that normal sized tools can only be arranged in either 2 or 3 rows.
