background: Don't know squat about WinTree and don't find the manual useful in what I'm trying to accomplish.
A programmer over 5 years ago developed a DMS in VB.NET and stored all the document relationship information in UltraWinTree Data in a SQL Database.
This development was in VB.Net 2005 and the controls are of that era ( I'm using the old work machine the programmer had)
I've managed to create a routine in VB.NET (2005) to traverse the database and recreate each tree using UltraWintree and Streams.
Problem: Tring to extract ALL the information contained in each node of a tree and writting that information out to Excel.
any pointers would be helpful

Which part of this is giving you trouble? The traversal of the tree, or the writing to Excel? Or is there some other part of it?
Exorting all the data
We appear to be having the same conversation in two different threads now. Please do not post the same question multiple times, as it is just a waste of resources.
In any case, I'm not sure how I can assist you. If you are having trouble with absolutely everything, then there's no way I can offer you any meaningful advice here in a forum post.
The WinTree doesn't have any built-in functionality to export itself to Excel. So you can either copy the same data into a WinGrid (via a DataSource), or you will have to iterate every node in the tree and using the Infragistics Excel engine to write the data into an Excel Workbook however you like.
The first method will be pretty easy if your tree is already getting it's data via the DataSource.
If your tree is not bound, then you could iterate the nodes and copy the data into a valid data source of some kind, such as the UltraDataSource, then bind that to a grid and export the grid.
Or, as I said, you could write code to iterate the tree nodes and write the data to Excel yourself. This would not be a trivial undertaking and it would require you to learn how to use the Excel assembly and it's Workbook and Worksheet classes.
