Hi,so in the new version (15.2) threre's finnaly an option to get Excel style filtering with filter row by setting FilterOperandUIType to ExcelStyle. The question noew is: how do I style it? With FilterUIType set to LabelIcons I can override the style of filter drop down by setting the property LabelPresenterStyle in field settings. How do I do it with FilterRecond and ExcelStyle filter?Best Regards,Daniel
Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your post.
I have been looking into the functionality that you are trying to achieve. It seems like I am missing something from your scenario, so if this is still an issue for you, could you please modify the attached sample application or send me, an isolated sample project, where this is reproduced, so I can investigate it further for you? It will be great if you could share a screenshot that illustrate the behavior you are looking for.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Zhivko, wat I meant is that I was able to change the ItemsSource of the filter drop down by overriding it's style according to this topic: http://www.infragistics.com/community/forums/p/94479/469780.aspx#469780Now the question is how do I make the same thing with the new Excel Style FilterBest Regards,Daniel
Thank you for your feedback.
I have been looking into the forum thread you have provided. What I can suggest you is to create style for RecordFilterTreeControl. In the style you can use EventSetter in order to handle its Loaded event. The RecordFilterTreeControl contains a Field property, by using this property in the event handler of Loaded you can determine the Field which fires this event, so you can set some specific style for the RecordFilterTreeControl and overriding it's default style. Please let me know if I am missing something from your scenario.
I created short sample application based on the scenario from the thread you have provided in order to show you how you can implement this approach.
Please let me know if you require any further assistance on this matter.
Hello Zhivko, thank you for the sample, it helped me to get a couple of steps further, but I need some more information. What I'm trying to achieve is an opportunity to fill the filter drow down with my own items (not the data from grid) and the only item collection that I found on the RecordFilterTreeControl is the Nodes collection which is read-only. Can you please help me to do it?Best regards,Daniel
