Where does HeaderPresenter and others fit into the visual tree

There is very little documentation in the help about DataRecordPresenter, HeaderPresenter, HeaderLabelArea, LabelPresenter about where these fall into the visual tree.

Do you have something which shows where these are in a grid and what they affect visually in the header/cells?

I've looked at the feature browser, specifically the custom HeaderLabelArea sample but it doesn't work when binding custom objects to the grid.

I really want something visual to see where these fall at in the visual layout of a grid.

You can use the WPF tool - Snoop to snoop you applications element tree and see just these elements are.

    Hope this helps.
