Menu Separator when using horizontal (toolbar) style menu
posted

I've watched the sample eplaining how to put a separator in a XamMenu but that sample shows only how to separate vertical menus, If I made a toolbar horizontal menu, how can I group options as we use to do in Winforms ToolbarManager with the "Begin a Group" that put a vertical line in the toolbar and an horizontal line in the menu ?

Thank you in advance

    HI Sabrina,

    You  can update the XamMenuSeparators Control Template

     Here some code

     <ig:XamMenu MenuOrientation="Horizontal" x:Name="xamMenu1" >
                <ig:XamMenuItem Header="File">
                    <ig:XamMenuItem Header="New" />
                    <ig:XamMenuItem Header="Open" />
                    <!-- Separator line-->
                    <ig:XamMenuSeparator  >

                    </ig:XamMenuSeparator>
                    <ig:XamMenuItem Header="Exit" />
                </ig:XamMenuItem>
                <ig:XamMenuSeparator>
                    <ig:XamMenuSeparator.Template>
                        <ControlTemplate>
                            <Rectangle Width="5" Fill="Black"/>
                        </ControlTemplate>
                    </ig:XamMenuSeparator.Template>
                </ig:XamMenuSeparator>
                <ig:XamMenuItem Header="Save"/>
                <ig:XamMenuItem Header="Run"/>
            </ig:XamMenu>

    Sincerely,
