I have a webgrid with about 10 columns on it. The last column is a button which opens the row edit template. The Hours column in the grid is the only editabel fields. CUrrently I need to double click in the horus column to begin editing. How I automatically set focus into and automatically select the hours cell when the user clicks on the first row. Also, hwo do I automatically advance to the next row, and select the hours cell there, if the user hits the tab key.

Thanks, this works fine except for one issue. I palced a cellClickHandler into the code whcih starts a begin edit as soo as the user click on a cell. In that code if I do a begin edit the entire field is selected. In tried the code you gave me and the navigation works fine, but the entrie field is not highlighted, the cursor is just placed at the beginning of the field.
