Hello,
I am trying to use RTL on Visual Studio 13 C# Infragistics WinForms Inventory Management example. I set RightToLeft = Yes, and RightToLeftLayout = True for the form. This changes the direction inside the form to RTL. However, the title bar doesn't get mirrored as it is supposed to. That is the window icon and title remain on the left and the window controls remain on the right as shown in the attached image. I need the window controls to be on the left and the window icon and title be on the right.
Thanks
Hello ,
The sample which you are pointing uses UltraFromManager to style the from (in general it cloaks the form to apply some specific styles). Currently this component (and also UltraToolbarsManager) does not support Right-To-Left layout. On the following link you could see Infragistics components which supports Right-To-Left:
http://help.infragistics.com/doc/WinForms/2014.2/CLR4.0/?page=Right-to-Left_Support.html
So what I could suggest you is to remove UltraFormManager from the form.
Also I suggest you to log new product idea about this feature. . You can suggest new product ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at http://ideas.infragistics.com
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Hi Hristo,
Thank you for the prompt followup. I added the idea on the ideas pages.
How can I remove the UltraFormManager from the form in VS?
Thanks.
Hello Ammar,
It is pretty easy, locate the component in the designer and delete it. Please see attached video.
RTL issue is resolved with the deletion of UltraFormManager, but the frame now looks less elegant. Is there a work around this problem wihtout deleting UltraFormManager? i.e. can I manually align the title and controls on the title bar while keeping UltraFormManager?
Hello,
I am just checking about the progress of this issue. Let me know If you need my further assistance on this issue?
Thank you for using Infragistics Components.
Hello Hristo,
Thank you for your kind followup. I migrated my project to WPF by starting with a different sample project.
Best regards.
