There is seemingly no way to configure the Spreadsheet component so it doesn't show the context menu on right mouse click. Not through the IgxSpreadsheetComponent class, nor through the Workbook or the Worksheet class.
Does anyone know if there is a way of doing that?

Thank you for contacting Infragistics. Do you require a protected worksheet or workbook? Protecting won't completely hide the context menu but will limit the features that are exposed by the context menu but will also prevent editing as well.Hiding the context menu in Angular is considered to be a new product idea.
You can suggest new product ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at <https://www.infragistics.com/community/ideas>. Submitting your idea will allow you to communicate directly with our product management team, track the progress of your idea at any time, see how many votes it got, read comments from other developers in the community, and see if someone from the product team has additional questions for you. Remember when submitting your idea to explain the context in which a feature would be used and why it is needed as well as anything that would prevent you from accomplishing this today. You can even add screenshots to build a stronger case. Remember that for your suggestion to be successful, you need other members of the community to vote for it. I tried protecting my worksheet before posting here and yes, I can see that the context menu features are disabled. That is not desirable though. For the time being, I only want the users of my component not to be able to edit the worksheet in any fashion so I don't even want the context menu to show. Think of a scenario where for very specific users with very specific permissions I only want them to be able to select something from the worksheet. A context menu there has virtually no sense at all.
Editing the worksheet in my scenario depends on user permissions.
I also noticed that there is no way to add custom behaviour to the context menu. Should I create a separate thread for discussing that? Is that a feature that the Infragistics team is considering on including?
I will head to the ideas panel and include mine.

Our spreadsheet is based on Excel, which also does not prevent the context menu from showing even when a worksheet is protected. Configuring the spreadsheet's context menu in addition to toggling the visibility is considered to a be a new product idea.
