Grid always in top...

Hi, as i previusly mention in the post subject, i am having an isue with the UltraWebGrid. The problem consist in the following: when using a Grid inside a WebDialigWindow along with other controls (like WebPanel), the rows box of the grid (only this portion of the grid) remain always in top of the other controls, when the WebDialogWindow scroll his content area. I already try to assing a very very low z-index to the grid control, but this don't fix anything.

Has anyone encounter this problem? Thanks!!!

Try setting WDW's ContanePane.EnableRelativeLayout to true.

Well, i am using v8.1 and in this version the WDW ContentPanel don't have any property with this name, and the WDW control either.

I guess this property was introduced later in the WebDialogWindow's
pane. What it does it sets up the pane's HTML element to have
style.position = relative. You can try to do the same on the client.

Well, my concern is that the problem don't seems to be related with the WDW, because all the control inside his content pane behave very well when scrolling, anly the grid (and most specifically, the rows block) is the only part that remain in the same position.

The grid has relative positioning. It is related to a history of
converting from HTML to XHTML doctype. To fix the layout its container
must have the same position set.
If it is an option for you you can also try switching to HTML doctype.
If I remember correctly the grid won't use relative positioning then.

Thanks a lot!!! You are absolutely right, setting the WDW content panel position to relative the problem is solved. I spend my time trying only with the grid, and the solution was all the time around the WDW. Thank again!!
