Sorting on WebDataGrid with Editor Provider

Hi,

I'm having problem on sorting a column in WebDataGrid which having an Editor Prodivder as DropDown.

As one facing this?

The column currently sort by ValueField instead of TextField.

    Hello ***,

    Thank you for submitting your inquiry to the Infragistics ASP.Net forums.  The functionality of sorting an EditorProvider when used in the WebDataGrid is in the works and will be available sometime in a future release of our controls.  The WebDataGrid sorts on the ValueField since this is value in the DataSource. 

    In the meantime, a way to sort the WebDataGrid by the TextField instead of the ValueField would be to add a hidden column to the grid which will contain the TextField value and when the Column Header containing the EditorProvider is clicked to be sorted,  cancel the sort for that column and sort the grid on the TextField in the hidden column.
