In the report designer, how can i have some parts of a table not show gridlines and other show them? I have a table that needs to show some subtotals etc, which should show the table gridlines. However, under the subtotal i have some text with several lines where i do not want gridlines. I need them in the same table so they never get separated onto the next page etc. OR is there a way to keep two tables together, so they don't run across pages? That way i can set the tables with any gridlines etc i want, but i haven't found a way to do either of these...
Hello,
Thank you for your post. I have been looking into the question that you are having and you can add two table on the same page of a report. I have created a sample application for you, that shows how you can implement this functionality. Regarding the gridlines of the table, currently, our Reporting tool does not provide such functionality. I can suggest submitting a new Product Idea for having this built-in. You can suggest new Product Ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at http://ideas.infragistics.com.
Steps to create your idea:
The benefits of submitting the product idea yourself include:
- Direct communication with our product management team regarding your product idea.
- Notifications whenever new information regarding your idea becomes available.
Additional benefits of the Product Idea system include:
- Ability to vote on your favorite product ideas to let us know which ones are the most important to you. You will have ten votes for this and can change which ideas you are voting for at any time.
- Allow you to shape the future of our products by requesting new controls and products altogether.
- You and other developers can discuss existing product ideas with members of our Product Management team.
The product ideas site allows you to track the progress of your ideas at any time, see how many votes it got, read comments from other developers in the community, and see if someone from the product team has additional questions for you.
Thank you for contacting Infragistics.
Sincerely,

I am just checking if you require any further assistance on the matter.
this solution does not meet my needs. as i stated, the second table needs to be under the subtotals, not beside it.
Hello Travis,
Thank you for your post and the clarification. I have been looking investigating the functionality that you are trying to achieve and it turns out that currently the Infragistics Reporting does not support it. What I can suggest is submitting a new Product Idea for having this functionality in our reporting tools.
