Hi, I'm new to SharePlus and trying SharePlus for Airwatch on an iPad.
I noticed that my calculated field shows NaN instead of the expected link.
We use this as the calculated field: =TEKST.SAMENVOEGEN("<DIV><a href='";" <sharepoint url>?FilterField1=Productcode&FilterValue1=";Productcode;"'>Details</a></DIV>")
It works fine on our on prem SP 2013 as lon as we tell SharePoint it is a number (instead of a text string). If we tell SP it is text, it does not translate the url to a clickable link.
Is this because we have a trial version of is SharePlus not able to use the calculated field this way?
TEKST.SAMENVOEGEN is Dutch for CONCATENATE
Hello Gert,
Thank you for your support request!
It is definitely not because you have the trial version.
This is most likely due to an incompatibility. When you define the field as a text, is it as plain text so chances are SharePlus is interpreting the value as a string of text and not an hyperlink.
Why isn't the workaround of defining the field as a number viable or acceptable for you?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Hi Javier,
Thanks for the reply. The field IS defined als number. But it is displayed in SharePlus as NaN.
I have a calculated column like this: =TEKST.SAMENVOEGEN("<DIV><a href='";" https://producten.pameijer.nl/ws3/continuverbeteren/Onepagertool/Paginas/OnePager3.aspx?FilterField1=Productcode&FilterValue1=";Productcode;"'>Details</a></DIV>")
SharePoint:
SharePlus:
Gert,
Oh! I think I may have misunderstood:
If the above is correct the 'NaN' error makes sense (it means 'Not a Number') in SharePlus. It seems having a clickable link in SharePoint, that is a calculated field, is not a trivial issue. See these Google search results: "calculated field link sharepoint"
What do you see in SharePlus when you define the calculated field as text?
Regards,
I use this formula:
=TEKST.SAMENVOEGEN("<DIV><a href='";" url/page.aspx?FilterField1=Productcode&FilterValue1=";Productcode;"'>Details</a></DIV>")
Number field works fine on SharePoint and returns NaN on SharePlus
Text field returns text: <DIV><a href='url/page.aspx?FilterField1=Productcode&FilterValue1=productcode'>Details</a></DIV>
How can I make SharePus resolve the link as intended?
I think you'll need to help me build a test environment on my end, unless you can provide me with access to it. If only the former is possible please describe:
It may help if you crafted a spreadsheet as an example so I can duplicate the list on my end.
Thanks in advance,
