I am trying to get InfoPath working with Shareplus. It is mentioned all over that there is "limited infopath support". I am happy with that. All I want to is to be able to view an XML file that is stored online. When I try to do this, I get an error message "The following location is not accessible, because it is in a different site collection: [followed by the url of the xml file].
I am not sure if this is a SharePlus issue or SharePoint.
Any help would be appreciated.

You say InfoPath forms then you refer to XML files. InfoPath support is limited to Forms Libraries and InfoPath forms for sites that have Form Services enabled. An XML file for a form isn't a form (in SharePoint) just by having the XML extension.
Having said this, can you access the same form in Safari? Does the URL you get have the same domain as the URL you used to set up the site?

Do the items in your library (in SharePlus) have this icon?
InfoPath forms do have an .XML extension but what I tried to say is that simply uploading the .XML file created with InfoPath designer to SharePoint doesn't do the trick.
Since you state that when you click Add Document, the resulting is an .XML file, I assume you're dealing with a Forms Library. When you browse this library in SharePlus, the actions button, does it say "Add Form"?
If all of this is present (icon and add form) then we'd need to verify the URLs.

The library's stored file has the.xml extension. I want to be able to use shareplus to access the library, open a file, and read it on my iPad. See: plumber manukau

Javier, what do you think? I still think this is a bug, not a "lack of support" issue. I am not trying to do anything tricky with the form other than allow it to be rendered on the ipad. The broswer does this perfectly well, and I agree with Adam that SharePlus seems to be sending the wrong URL.

I am having the same issue and I think I may have figured out what SharePlus is doing. http://teams.yourdomain.com is in a different site collection than http://teams.yourdomain.com/sites/PacificIT/PMO so the FormServer.aspx will not work. When SharePlus calls the FormServer.aspx it should use url http://teams.yourdomain.com/sites/PacificIT/PMO/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XmlLocation=file.xml... When I open the file in Safari I get the same error, until I correct the url to the collection that contains the xml file.

I see the issue you have pointed out. However I am not quite at the same place as you - I don't see how this clearly states there is a server issue. I can successfully browse from the list to the form on my PC. I can also successfully browse from the list to the form on my iPad using Safari. When I try to do the same thing via SharePlus, it doesn't work. So from my perspective, if it works with 2 clients and not the third, then I would start out questioning if it is the method that the client uses to send the request to the server. Now I have no knowledge of technically how SharePlus does this vs Safari, so of course I could be wrong.
Your thoughts? Any thinking to validate why it "could not be the client"?
