Hello everybody,
I have an Ultragrid that have 4 columns, the fisrt column is a UltraDropDown, it´s populated from my Database and show me lots of rows. I need to filter by Code, Description, etc (columns from my DropDown), because the user can't memorize the code.
I'm using this code:
Private Sub cmbProducts_InitializeLayout(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As Infragistics.Win.UltraWinGrid.InitializeLayoutEventArgs) Handles cmbProducts.InitializeLayout Try e.Layout.Override.HeaderClickAction = UltraWinGrid.HeaderClickAction.SortMulti e.Layout.Override.AllowRowFiltering = DefaultableBoolean.True
(...)
UltraDropDown Products (Code, Description, Line, Price)
I'm using Infragistics 2010.3
This code doesn't work, please hace some idea?
Thanks in advance.
Hello Steve,
Filtering the UltraDropdown can be achieved as demonstrated in the forum here. Even though the UltraGrid is unrelated to this requirement directly; if you do have issues or questions integrating this into your application let me know.
Hello, thanks for reply,
I´m usign the same code from the example forum here. But I can´t filter for Description or Line, only by IdProduct.
Thanks.
I attached a modified sample below. Please review it and let me know if you have any questions. Clicking the cells opens the dropdowns with three columns. The DisplayMember is set to Line to show the values in the Line column.
UltraCombo and UltraDropDown do not currently support displaying a FilterRow. You can still filter the rows using the dropdown buttons in the column headers, but the FilterUIType setting for FilterRow is not supported.
Please Submit a Feature Request on our UserVoice page. In fact, I think this suggestion is probably on there already, but if so you can add your vote to it.WindowsFormsApplication34.zip
Ok. Thanks for all, I need the filter row like the UltraGrid. I understand that is not currently supported. I'll try other options.
Ok!
Let us know if you have any additional questions. Have a nice day.
