Hi, when I try to edit the grid with some value, then delete the value and press enter, I get the following error message, I cannot even close the RowEditTemplate without this error popup showing, I have to manually type something in the field to remove this dialog. How can I solve this problem?

Hello ,
What is the exactly version of Infragistics you are using ? Is you underling data source allows null value for the column (field), which causing this issue? Is it possible to post a small sample where your issue is reproducible in order to investigate this further for you.
I am waiting for your details.
The data source is a custom object with 2 string fields, those fields can be null, I am doing grid.SetDatabinding(data, null, true) to bind the grid. When I try to edit the schema using the grid wizard, I can't seem to change the default type of the fields to String, it is always DBNull for some reason..
I'm using version 11.1, i guess its the latest version. Can you help me with this issue? I can provide more code if you need
Hello,
What you could do is it to set Nulable property of the UltraGridColumn to Nothing. I have created a small sample where My custom class has a two fields “String1” and “String2”.In the InitializeLayout event of the UltraGrid, setting Nulable property of the column generated for the “String1” field to Nothing:
e.Layout.Bands[0].Columns["String1"].Nullable = Infragistics.Win.UltraWinGrid.Nullable.Nothing;
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
