The ability to pin/fix a tab item in the XamTabControl, so it does not get scrolled out of view has been determined to be a new product idea. You can suggest new Product Ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at http://ideas.infragistics.com.

As of now can you suggest me any workaround in xamtabcontrol?
In order to keep a single TabItemEx fixed at the beginning of the XamTabControl's header area, I can suggest you set the PreTabItemContent property of the control to a TabItemEx instance, which will serve as a home tab item.
This way you can manually set the Content property of the ContentPresenter that is responsible for visualizing the current content of the XamTabControl beneath the header area. Since this is not the by-design functionality of the XamTabControl, we will have to manually set the current content, based on whether we have clicked the home tab or a tab from the Items collection. For this purpose we can use the PreviewKeyDown event of the home tab and the SelectionChanged event of the XamTabControl.
