Is there an easy way to collapse(hide) SelectedGroupContent in XamOutlookBar?
All I want to do with this control is to display groups and perform some actions on the selected group. I don't have any content to show
Thanks,
Michael
Hello Michael,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics. The groups content can be hidden by toggling the IsSelected property. Please hook into the XamOutlookBar's SelectedGroupChanged event and set the IsSelected property to false for the NewSelectedOutlookBarGroup.
eg.
private void xamOutlookBarBookMark_SelectedGroupChanged(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { var newGroup = ((Infragistics.Windows.OutlookBar.Events.SelectedGroupChangedEventArgs)e).NewSelectedOutlookBarGroup; if (newGroup != null) { newGroup.IsSelected = false; } }
I've attached a sample demonstrating this. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks Michael. I don't have any code behind in that project, it is strictly MVVM. But your advise is very helpful, it will help to come up with the resolution.
Best regards,
I guess I didn't phrase my original question clear, sorry
Basically I'm trying to get rid off that white space.

Thank you for following up. You can retemplate the control to either remove the ContentPresenter used to show the content or change it's background property to a different color since this isn't a feature built into the component.
You can access the default style files for the XamOutlookbar by visiting the following location on your computer:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics\2017.1\WPF\DefaultStyles\OutlookBar
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks Michael, I made a few attempts already, doesn't look well so far, will try again later.
Thanks
