can we bind a dataset to the XamComboEditor to show a grid in the drop down? How?
I found this post talking about a similar request but for WPF (https://www.infragistics.com/community/forums/f/ultimate-ui-for-wpf/26793/xamcomboeditor-with-drop-down-grid)
can we do a similar thing using Silverlight components?
Currently the XamComboEditor will not show multiple columns, however this is a feature we are looking at implementing.
i will ask our Developer Support staff to create a feature request on your behalf.

Hello,
Thank you for the link. But the combobox in the grid is an ordinary combobox. We need to be able to show a multi column combobox , with the sorting and filtering capabilities (as if the combo is showing a XamGrid in the dropdown).
Here is a sample project showing how you can place a XamGrid inside your XamComboEditor.
Hope it helps.
Sincerely,
Petar Monov
