Win7 Design Cutting Floor and IE8 Improvement

I guess I’m a little late to the game on this one, but it just came across my email via Tobias.  Some Windows 7 designs that didn’t make the cut.  I always like seeing how designs evolved and the rationale behind the evolution.  Although the rationale given is minimal, it’s still interesting. 

Also today, I blathered about a new experience in IE8 that is a big improvement over other alternatives I’ve seen on Good Experience Design.  Thought you might find that interesting/helpful.
