Dear Maya,
Thanks a lot for taking interest in my problem. I tried so many things but not able to accomplish my goal. I also tried Ajax HTML editor extender but it is giving error while inserting images. I installed AjaxControlToolkit but it does not contain SanitizerProviders.DLL and I am not able to install it alone. My web.config start giving error when I am trying to insert sanitizer tag and tags to upload images.
The code you have shared doesn't contain web.config code, can you please share web.config code also. Also can you please tell me any infragistics tool is available which allow to to paste content with images from word doc and mail it as we are already using infragistic grids.
Hello Fozia,
Here are the steps needed in order to use our WebHtmlEditor in a Web application or website:
1.Download our ASP.net controls (http://www.infragistics.com/products/aspnet/ )
2.Install them on your machine.
3.Run the toolbox utility that will appear in the menu at :All programs -> Infragistics->2013.2 -> ASP.Net -> Utilities
4.Run Visual Studio and create a new Web Application or WebSite
5.Open the toolbox (Ctrl+W+X) . You’ll see a list of all available controls
6.Drag the WebHtmlEditor control to your page.
This will add all needed references to your Web.Config file.
7.Build and Start your project .
Let me know if you have any questions.
Developer Support Engineer II
I wanted to know if you were able to solve your issue based on these suggestions or you still need help. Please let me know.
Dear Boris,
Dear Team,
Please suggest any solution for above mentioned problems.
Thanks &Regards
Fozia
The images for the WebHtmlEditor by default need to be located in a virtual directory called “ig_common” which should be defined in your IIS and should point to :
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\Infragistics
When installing the product ,if you have IIS installed on your machine then the related folder will be created for you.
For more information on how you need to set-up your IIS you can refer to the following article:
http://help.infragistics.com/Doc/ASPNET/2013.2/CLR4.0/?page=Deploying_Common_Assets.html
Also please note that the control I’m referring to is the WebHtmlEditor control which is part of our NetAdvantage for ASP.Net controls.
The AjaxHTMLEditor on the other hand is part of the Ajax toolkit which is not an Infragistics product. As such it falls outside the scope of our support.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
