BeforeHeaderExitEditMode Event

Occurs before a header exits edit mode.

The event handler receives an argument of type BeforeHeaderExitEditModeEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following BeforeHeaderExitEditModeEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

Remarks

The cancel argument enables you to programmatically prevent the header from exiting edit mode. This argument can be used to prevent the header from leaving edit mode unless a certain condition is met.

When a header is not in edit mode, the control's IsHeaderInEditMode property is set to False.

The AfterHeaderExitEditMode event, which occurs after a header exits edit mode, is generated after this event, provided cancel is not set to True.

The BeforeEnterEditMode event is generated before a header enters edit mode.
