ClipboardOperationError Event

Occurs when an error is encountered during a clipboard operation.

Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type ClipboardOperationErrorEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following ClipboardOperationErrorEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

Action Returns or sets a value indicating whether and how to proceed with the specified Operation.
CanContinueWithRemainingCells Specifies whether the operation can continue with remaining cells.
Cell Returns the cell for which the specified Operation could not be performed or null if the entire operation could not be performed.
DisplayErrorMessage Returns or sets whether an error message should be displayed to the end user.
Error Returns an enumeration used to identify the type of error that occurred.
Exception Returns the exception, if any, that resulted in the error.
Field Returns the Field associated with the error.

Message Gets/sets the message that will be displayed to the user.
Operation Returns the type of operation that was being performed when the error occurred.

This event occurs while processing a clipboard operation such as a cut, copy, paste or delete if an exception is encountered. When the event is raised for a specific Infragistics.Windows.DataPresenter.Events.ClipboardOperationErrorEventArgs.Cell, the Infragistics.Windows.DataPresenter.Events.ClipboardOperationErrorEventArgs.Action can be used to determine whether and how the processing should continue. In addition, the event can be used to control what error message, if any, is provided to the end-user.
