DataError Event

Occurs when an exception is thrown by the DataSource.

Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type DataErrorEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following DataErrorEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

Cancel (Inherited from Infragistics.Windows.Controls.Events.CancelableRoutedEventArgs) 
Cell Returns the associated Infragistics.Windows.DataPresenter.Cell (read-pnly)
Exception Returns the exception that was thrown (read-pnly)
Field Returns the associated Infragistics.Windows.DataPresenter.Field (read-pnly)
Handled (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets a value that indicates the present state of the event handling for a routed event as it travels the route.
Message Gets/sets the message that will be displayed to the user.
Operation Returns the operation that was attempted and which triggered a data error (read-pnly)
OriginalSource (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets the original reporting source as determined by pure hit testing, before any possible System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.Source adjustment by a parent class.
Record Returns the associated Infragistics.Windows.DataPresenter.DataRecord (read-pnly)
RoutedEvent (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets the System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.RoutedEvent associated with this System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs instance.
Source (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets a reference to the object that raised the event.

An exception can be thrown by the DataSource when reading or updating a Cells value, deleting an existing DataRecord or adding a new one.
