Occurs when one or more DataRecords is about to be deleted.
Public Event RecordsDeleting As EventHandler(Of RecordsDeletingEventArgs)
public event EventHandler<RecordsDeletingEventArgs> RecordsDeleting
Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type RecordsDeletingEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following RecordsDeletingEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

Cancel (Inherited from Infragistics.Windows.Controls.Events.CancelableRoutedEventArgs)
DisplayPromptMessage Dertermines whether a prompt message is displayed to the user to confirm the record deletion.
Handled (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets a value that indicates the present state of the event handling for a routed event as it travels the route.
OriginalSource (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets the original reporting source as determined by pure hit testing, before any possible System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.Source adjustment by a parent class.
Records Returns the records that are about to be deleted (read-only).
RoutedEvent (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets the System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.RoutedEvent associated with this System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs instance.
Source (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets a reference to the object that raised the event.
UndeleteStrategy Returns or sets an instance of a class that can be used to undo the deletion of the Records

Deleting DataRecords is supported for DataSources that implement the System.ComponentModel.IBindingList interface and return true from its System.ComponentModel.IBindingList.AllowRemove property. It is also supported for DataSources that only implement the System.Collections.IList interface and return false from both its System.Collections.IList.IsReadOnly and System.Collections.IList.IsFixedSize properties.

Assuming deleting of DataRecords is enabled then when the user selects one or more DataRecords and presses the Delete key the RecordsDeleting and RecordsDeleted events will be raised. DataRecords can also be deleted programmatically by first selecting them (via the Record.IsSelected property or the SelectedItems collection) and then calling ExecuteCommand(RoutedCommand) with the DataPresenterCommands.DeleteSelectedDataRecords command.

Note: Deleting records is enabled by default. To disable deleting records set the FieldLayoutSettings's FieldLayoutSettings.AllowDelete property to false.
