While it sounds nice to call an experience seamless, in reality, interaction design is all about designing the seams to keep the users in a state of “flow” as they use the prototype and participate in a usability study. As the complexity of the application domain increases, we need to get more strategic about how we create prototypes. This talk presents an approach for creating prototypes that afford the highest possible fidelity experience using the cheapest means possible.
